Bastille Day 2025 Parade: A Symbol of Indonesia–France Strategic Military Partnership

SUARA NEGERI | PARIS — With disciplined strides and a powerful, unified rhythm, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) captivated thousands of Parisians who lined the Champs-Élysées. Thunderous applause echoed from dignitaries and international guests attending the commemoration of France’s National Day (Bastille Day) in Paris, Monday (July 14, 2025).

The Indonesian contingent, part of Task Force Patriot II was composed of personnel from all three branches of the TNI, along with cadets from the TNI Academy and Indonesian Police. Their synchronized, confident, and spirited march earned admiration from the crowd, including senior officials from around the world.

Witnessing this proud moment from the grandstand was the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, whose presence underscored Indonesia's strong commitment to global defense diplomacy. It also reaffirmed Indonesia’s resolve to strengthen bilateral ties with France through strategic military collaboration.

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, who accompanied the President, expressed his deep pride in the professionalism and high morale demonstrated by the troops.
